Color Blocking Styles

There are several ways to step out in colors for spring and summer. One way is to color block in your choice of dress, skirt, or pant colors. Color blocking is the art of mixing up bold, loud colors together in your fashion statement. With color blocking, anything goes. Use colors that are opposites or maybe even complementary of each other. How?

Pick a dress in a bold primary or neon color you already love, and pair it up with an equally stunning pump, platform or wedge, in a color that compliments the dress. Then carry a colorful or multi-color handbag, one that blends both the dress and shoe colors together.

Mix your top and bottom colors. Mix a bold primary top with a black skirt, or another bold primary color skirt. Like colors, such as, pink, orange and red are usually great together.

Wear a neutral color, like gray, black and/or white dress, skirt and blouse, then add a splash of color with your choice of shoes and handbags. The possibilities are endless.
