Roger Vivier Women Designer Shoes - What Would You Pay For A Pair of Roger Vivier?
There are some shoe styles that appeals to me and there are some I really do not care for. If it comes down to picking and choosing, I will normally go for open-toe, slingbacks stiletto pumps. To take it even further, I would prefer to have shoes that are made in Italy or Spain, it's just a matter of preference.
Shoes that are produced or made in Italy or Spain have the reputation for being durable. They are almost always made out of authentic, genuine Italian leather, and are usually crafted to withstand the daily wear and tear intended for shoes. Though they tend to be a little expensive, you can be assured that you will get your money's worth out of these shoes.
But if you've looked at the market lately you'll know as well as I do that shoes that are made in Italy or Spain are very hard to come by. Most shoes in shoe stores and department stores have either Made in China, or, Made in China, or Made in China (ROC) written all over it. So when I stumbled upon these three pairs of authentic, sophisticated Roger Vivier Ladies Shoes, I couldn't help but share them with you all, my shoe lovers friends.
The Designer
Roger Vivier is a shoe designer that is best known as the inventor of the modern stiletto. His design house has been known to produce durable, authentic Italian-made footwear since 1953. His shoes which are usually made of satin, leather/patent leather, studs, and crystals are original, trendy, and unique, and, are highly coveted among the rich and famous despite their high price tag. I guess no price is too high for any pair of shoe if it makes heads turn.
Roger Vivier's collections includes not only shoes, but other accessories like bags, purses, belts and wallets. His designs has been embraced by people like Madame Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, the wife of President Nicholas Sarkozy of France. She even has "The Miss Viv" bag dedicated to her.

I like the blend of colors in this simple, yet sophisticated shoe. This peep toe style shoe is great for those who like to show off their toes. It has a velvet upper (purple) and ankle strap(teal) that is made of satin. Strap also has jeweled ankle strap with adjustable crystal buckle. This shoe style runs narrow.

This glossy patent leather is a basket-weave style to die for (not literally). It has great detail at toe. Its slender high heel measures approximately 4 inches.

I must confess that at first glance, I thought these shoes are pricey! But the reality is, for some, no price tag is too high for a pair of Roger Vivier's creation. Well, again, it depends on who is paying for it. Most of Roger Vivier's loyal customers are the rich and famous in Hollywood and everywhere else on the globe.
I do draw the line on how much I can spend on a pair of shoe (well, of course, I'm not rich and famous, maybe one day I'll be), based on whether or not the shoe is practical, walkable, and comfortable. But this I'll say, if a shoe meets all the above criteria, it's worth the price.
I've often heard it said that you can't put a price tag on comfort, or, can you? So what would you pay for a Roger Vivier's Shoe?__________________________________________________________________
